There are over 40 Public Beaches in Jamaica. Some Public Beaches make an entry charge for use of facilities, and have security guards. Many hotels on the sea front are able to control access to what is effectively their private beach. They may allow non-residents to gain access and also use their faculties for a fee.

Doctor's cave beach (also known as Doctor's Cave Bathing Club) has been one of the most famous beaches in Jamaica for nearly a century. It is noted for its crystal clear turquoise waters and near white sand. This beach is conveniently located on the Montego Bay Hip Strip and is the beach most visited by our guests.

Font Hill

Font Hill beach is Located in Saint Elizabeth, on the south coast of Jamaica, between Black River and Whitehouse. It is within a nature reserve on the Font Hill property owned by the Petroleum Company of Jamaica. It is an attractive well kept beach with clean golden sand and safe swimming in a roped off area. Beyond the rope there is a shallow reef. Font Hill Beach is sometimes very popular at weekends and holidays, but is often very quiet during weekdays.

Treasure Beach

Treasure Beach is public beach in a small village of the same name on the South coast of Jamaica in the parish of St Elizabeth. The beach has a narrow strip of black and yellow-red sands and is about 600m long. The region is isolated from the main tourist areas, and the minor roads connecting with the main highway at Black River or Santa Cruz tend to suffer damage in heavy rain but are usual passable with care. Treasure Beach has been developed with a few small hotels and guest houses serving tourists seeking a very quiet seaside location.

Whitehouse Beach

Whitehouse Beach adjoins an area of former salt marsh in Westmoreland Parish, Jamaica. The area is being developed as a tourist resort. It is located about 4 km west of the centre of the town of Whitehouse. About 1 km of the beach is now been maintained by the new Sandals Whitehouse resort to a very high standard.

Winifred Beach

Winifred Beach is a beach on the north side of Jamaica. It has publicity in the area of which it is in Port Antonio, Jamaica. It is not very filled with a lot of people but it does have some. It also attracts incomers by doing a tour boat to cruise the bay's sea and adjoining rivers.

San San Beach

San-san Beach is a wide curving sandy beach close to the Port Antonio Blue Lagoon, the location of many movies and Monkey Islands is a short swim and is good for snorkeling, fishing boating /sailing, diving and river rafting / tubing.

Negril’s Seven Miles long Beach

Seven Miles long Beach, Negril Beloved by the hippies of the 1960s, Seven Mile Beach is still as beautiful as ever, but it's no longer the idyllic retreat it once was. Resorts now line this beach, attracting an international crowd. Nudity, however, is just as prevalent: This Negril beach promotes a laid-back lifestyle and carefree ambience more than any other in Jamaica or, perhaps, in the Caribbean. Clean aquamarine waters, coral reefs, and a backdrop of palm trees add to the appeal.
