Boating & Sailing Sailing and yachting have become a well-liked hobby in the Jamaica, and a number of vacationers opt to arrive on the islands by way of charter yachts. The Caribbean waters are ideal for sea-faring travelers to hit the open-waters and island harbors. First, you'll board the mega-tri or catamaran for the trip to Dunn's River Falls. Once you've made the climb, your return trip includes a snorkel stop. FISHING

Jamaica's Northern waters are famous for deep-sea and sport fishing. Anglers will hook a variety nof fish, including mahi mahi, wahoo, blue and white marlin, sailfish, tarpon, barracuda, and bonito. Jamaica also hosts two international fishing tournaments, the Jamaica International Fishing Tournament and Jamaica International Blue Marlin Team Tournament. Both tournaments take place in the early fall, September and October, so travelers interested in fishing may want to take this into consideration.
